Rain, Rain Go Away!

Well I feel like a loser, but not the good kind. Sadly I have fallen off the wagon this past few days. I haven't been that bad, but I haven't been as good as I like to be. My dd has been so sick from her shots, and so miserable from teething that she has been waking through the night every 2-3 hours which results in me having no energy, and no will power.  She also had a febrile seizure the other day which was very scary. She is doing a lot better now so I need to get my head back in the game. The few days that I drank a gallon plus water a day I felt so good! I definitely felt more energetic and my skin looked amazing. I don't want to be the person who makes excuses for myself and that is a habit I'm trying to break.

GAME PLAN FOR TODAY:
4 Litres of water
45 min on the treadmill
Weights, Squats, Lunges

ON THE MENU:
B: Oatmeal with blueberries and 1/2 c Unsweetned Apple Sauce
S: Apple with Tbs. Natural PB
L: Chili
S: Hard boiled Egg, 10 baby carrots and Green Tea
D: Chicken and Broccoli Stir fry

I really hope it doesn't rain all weekend, I am longing to go for a hike or to a park or something. Hopefully I can drag someone along with me.

  1. oh my goodness, that must have been scary for you!! Glad to hear she is o.k.

Good for you keeping up with the water, glad to hear you're seeing a difference in your skin, etc. I never thought water would do that, but lo and behold, there it is.

Keep up the good work! Love the background!

  2. Keep up the good work. It sucks when you fall off the wagon, but you've just gotta take it one day at a time! Cudos for the water - I am a diet pop addict, going from like 0 litres of water, and have worked myself up to 2 litres so far - replacing the pop slowly & hoping for clear skin like you!

  3. Thanks ladies! I am so glad nothing became of the seizure PC, it was so scary!

I find once you get used to it water can be addicting. I have psoriasis (yuck) and I guess flushing out toxins, it makes a big difference. I too am a diet pop addict, I have cut back a lot though. Used to have at least half a litre a day, but now I try to only have a can on the weekend..eventually I will stop. LOL we all have our vices.
